Sounds crazy right? Impossible! And still, Michel Lotito, a French gentleman ate a Cessna aircraft over the span of 2 years. (Google, if you don’t believe it). He broke the objects he ate down into small pieces and washed them down with mineral oil and water. Crazy, right?
I certainly have chosen a different diet however I think there is a lesson in what he did.
All too often ideas or projects are considered crazy or impossible and still if broken down into small “bitesize” actions, they can be achieved over a certain timespan. It’s the small gains principle or the additional marginal gains as Sir David Brailsford put it that make all the difference in the long run.
